Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the domains listed in the Legal Notice, connected account and Closed Beta modules, downloads, rankings, galleries, suggestions, bug reports, support functions and any game services expressly linked to these Terms.

By accessing an age-gated area, creating or using an account, submitting content, downloading a client or participating in a Closed Beta, you agree to these Terms and the documents referenced in the Legal Center. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. The services are not offered to persons who are prohibited from using them under applicable law.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate information and keep your contact details current.
• Keep passwords, recovery links and account identifiers confidential.
• Do not share, sell, purchase, trade or transfer accounts or Closed Beta access unless the operator gives written permission.
• Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by law.
• The operator may require email verification, security checks, a password reset or additional proof before restoring access or processing a sensitive account request.

4. Service availability and changes

The projects are community-run and may be experimental. Features, rankings, databases, clients, servers and Closed Beta environments may be changed, patched, reset, wiped, suspended or discontinued. Maintenance, security incidents, hosting limits and technical faults can cause downtime. Continuous availability, data permanence or a specific release date is not guaranteed.

Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate important changes, but emergency security or stability measures may be applied without advance notice.

5. Public information and rankings

Character names, guild names, faction, level, ranking position, status information and similar game data may be displayed publicly when a ranking or community feature is active. Do not use names that reveal sensitive personal information or violate the Community & Game Rules.

6. User submissions

You retain any rights you lawfully hold in suggestions, bug reports, screenshots, messages and other submissions. By submitting content, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, format, moderate and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve or document the service.

You must have permission to submit the content. Do not upload unlawful material, malicious code, personal data of another person without a lawful basis, or content that infringes third-party rights.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must comply with the Community & Game Rules. Prohibited conduct includes cheating, bots, exploits, packet manipulation, client tampering, abuse of security systems, account theft, harassment, hate or discriminatory abuse, doxxing, scams, unauthorised real-money trading, impersonating staff and attempts to bypass bans or access controls.

8. Moderation and enforcement

Depending on seriousness and history, action may include content removal, a warning, naming restriction, temporary suspension, access revocation, permanent termination, technical blocking or referral to an appropriate authority. Immediate action may be taken where necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or service integrity.

You may appeal a moderation decision through DK-United: support@darkedenunited.com · DK-Ezyro: support@dkezyro.com. Include the relevant account, decision and supporting information. An appeal does not automatically pause a safety or security measure.

9. Downloads and client software

Downloads are provided only from approved project locations. The Game Client EULA applies to client software. You are responsible for checking system requirements, maintaining backups and using suitable security software. Do not redistribute modified clients or misrepresent unofficial files as approved releases.

10. Intellectual property and non-affiliation

The project does not claim ownership of third-party DarkEden software, trademarks or game assets. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners. Original project website code, branding and written content may not be copied or used to impersonate the projects without permission.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with every device. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by unauthorised third-party conduct, or loss resulting from unsupported modifications, cheating tools, external links or failure to follow security instructions.

12. Termination

You may stop using the services and request account deletion subject to retention needed for security, disputes or legal obligations. The operator may restrict or terminate access for breach, security risk, prolonged inactivity, discontinuation or legal necessity.

13. Future commercial or automated features

Roadmap items such as a marketplace, payment or contribution functionality, advertising, newsletters, subscriptions, AI-assisted support, a public API or native applications are not governed as active services until they are actually launched with appropriate updated terms and notices.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or court rights available under the law of your habitual residence. 15. Changes

Material changes will be dated and, where reasonably possible, announced through the websites or account systems. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
